What is Thai Yoga Massage:
Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing tradition, born in the temples of Thailand. It uses a combination of rhythmic massage, acupressure, asana (yogic stretching exercise), energy work and meditation. Together these actions result in a full body treatment that relieves tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system, and re‐balances the body’s energy flow.
The massage takes place wearing comfortable clothing on a padded mat, where the stability of the floor allows the practitioner to use their palms, thumbs and feet to apply pressure along the body’s energy lines and pressure points.
